How Does Ear Acupuncture Work?

  • Stress, concentration, energy and appetite improve while hospitalization rates drop 70%.

Ear acupuncture is a simple, standardized five-point auricular acupuncture modality that utilizes five sterile, thin, single-use needles in both ears of the client. Sessions are administered by State Licensed Acupuncturists and/or Licensed Auricular Detoxification Specialists (ADSes) such as myself on an individual basis or in a group setting.

The needles are left in place 20 to 45 minutes. Upon completion of the treatment tiny seeds and/or magnetic beads can be affixed behind the clients’ ears supporting the clients experience until the next session. The number of sessions performed is based upon clinic program availability to meet the clients’ needs.
